Dialogues between AAMA GBA and Silicon Valley

AAMA hosts the annual Hong Kong · Shenzhen · Silicon Valley Tech Entrepreneurs Summit, convening global tech elites, academics, investors, founders and government representatives to drive two-way innovation between the Greater Bay Area and Silicon Valley. AAMA directors and senior members are also active at major events worldwide: Dr. Robert Lee hosted a luncheon for Queen Elizabeth II and co-hosted the 1999 luncheon during C.H. Tung's first official visit to Silicon Valley, while Mr. Philip Leung hosted Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau's 2016 visit to Hong Kong, led a 2022 delegation to the Li & Fung Group, and attended the Harvard Business School annual conference in 2025.

20+ sessions co-hosted with CUHK Shenzhen

The AAMA × IEO Future Tech Business Leaders Salon series embodies the Cradle Program's spirit that "success cannot be copied, but wisdom can be passed on." Focused on strategic emerging industries, it gathers government representatives, industry leaders, academics and founders — 20 sessions held to date. AAMA has collaborated with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) for ten years, and on 15 November 2025 received a certificate of appreciation at the 10th anniversary of CUHK (Shenzhen)'s Centre for Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (CIDE).

Silicon Valley, Israel, Huawei Songshan Lake, Shenzhen Bay Lab

AAMA regularly organises member visits to companies, institutions, parks and universities across Silicon Valley and the Greater Bay Area, deepening mutual understanding and cooperation. Destinations have included Silicon Valley and Israel, as well as Huawei's Songshan Lake campus, the Shenzhen Bay Laboratory and enterprises in Jiangmen, plus flagship member companies such as uCloud.

Closed-door leadership exchanges

AAMA periodically convenes presidents and senior members through roundtables, breakfast meetings and Happy Hours — relaxed, informal settings for candid discussion and deeper cooperation. The Business Angels Club's closed-door sessions have brought together senior Hong Kong investors, and roundtable guests have included Dr. Raymond Chien (Chairman, Hang Seng Bank), the Chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport, Mr. Philip Leung, Mr. Shih Wing-ching (founder, Centaline Property), the VP & CTO of Huawei Enterprise Solutions, and the CEO of Hong Kong Science Park.
